Dairy Free Mint Matcha Latte

I don’t know about you, but when it comes to Matcha I kind of have a maybe yes maybe no relationship with it. Maybe it’s because at heart the caffeine I love most comes in the form of coffee, but more than likely it’s my resistance to switching up my routine.

I usually always have the same two breakfasts, the same two lunches, the same few dinners, but every once in a while I go all out and create something new and excitingly different!

So when it came to figuring out how to love matcha I started experimenting and from that came the Mint Matcha latte. Who new Mint and Matcha could be such good friends?

 The new and exciting, slightly over the top Matcha latte that always leaves me thankful I sometimes deviate from my normal schedule…

Ingredients

·         8oz milk of choice

·         1tsp matcha powder

·         2tsp coconut sugar

·         1/4th tsp mint extract

·         1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

HOT

If you have an at home steaming wans, or frothier combine all the ingredients and froth the milk until hot.

If you do not have a milk frothier at home, heat up the milk until it’s warm, but not boiling.

Add all the ingredients together and blend on high for about 30 seconds. This will give the milk a little bit of that frothed milk texture without the need for fancy equipment.

Serve and enjoy!

Combine all the ingredients in a blender

Add in a few Ice cubes & blend on high for 30 to 60 seconds

Pour over ice & enjoy!
